Are my PDFs uploaded?+

No. The files are joined in your browser on your own device. They are never sent to DigiSafe or anyone else.

How many PDFs can I merge?+

Up to 20 files and 300 pages in all at a time.

Can I merge a password-protected PDF?+

Not directly. This includes PDFs locked against editing, even if they open without a password. Open it, save an unlocked copy, and add that copy instead.

The merged PDF is too big for a form. What now?+

Try the free PDF size reducer on this site. It takes PDFs of up to 30 pages and aims for limits such as 200 KB or 1 MB, again without uploading. The smaller copy is made of page images, so its text can no longer be selected.
