01
Real card size, on one page
The front and back go on one A4 page at 85.6 x 54 mm, the standard size of most plastic ID and bank cards, with a dotted line to cut along. Choose 1.5 times larger if you need a bigger copy.

02
Print at actual size
In the print dialog, choose Actual size or 100%, not Fit to page. Otherwise the card comes out smaller. Crop each photo to the card's edges before you add it. Fill the card covers the whole card and trims any extra at the sides. Fit without cropping keeps every edge and adds white space instead.
03
A copy for your records
This makes a photocopy-style print for a form or your file. It is not a replacement card. For the next time someone asks, keep both sides in DigiSafe: its scanner has an ID card mode that captures the front and back and straightens each side, and the number reader copies your Aadhaar or PAN number on your phone. When you share a copy, DigiSafe can hide the first 8 digits of your Aadhaar and add a watermark. It is free today, with no ads.
Questions people ask
How do I print an Aadhaar card front and back on one page?+
Add a photo of the front and the back, cropped to the card's edges, tap Make the A4 page, and print the PDF at Actual size or 100%. Both sides come out at real card size, ready to cut.
What size is an ID card when printed?+
85.6 x 54 mm, the standard size of most plastic ID and bank cards. Choose 1.5 times larger if you want a bigger copy.
I have my e-Aadhaar as a PDF. Can I use it?+
Yes, with one extra step. The e-Aadhaar PDF is locked with a password: the first four letters of your name in capitals, then your year of birth. Open it, save an unlocked copy, and turn that page into a JPG with the free PDF to JPG tool. Crop the front and the back in your photo editor, then add each one here.
Why does my printed card come out smaller?+
The printer is shrinking the page to fit. In the print dialog, choose Actual size or 100% instead of Fit to page.
Are my card photos uploaded?+
No. The page is made in your browser on your own device. Your photos are never sent to DigiSafe or anyone else.
Is the printout a replacement for my card?+
No. It is a copy for your records or for a form that asks for a photocopy. A replacement card comes only from the authority that issued it.
